San Felipe Dog Rescue (SFDR) is an entirely donation-based 501(c)3 organization committed to creating a community where every animal is cherished, protected, and empowered to thrive. We serve as a vital beacon of hope by providing comprehensive rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for dogs in critical need.
Our mission is driven by two major strategic goals. The first is to build a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic offering accessible, low-cost medical care and essential spay/neuter services. The second is to actively lead educational programs and outreach, fostering responsible pet ownership and inspiring every individual to become an advocate for animal welfare. We operate with focused, responsible resource management, strictly intaking only the animals we can afford to treat and house to ensure they receive the absolute best care.
We are a dedicated rescue organization, not Animal Control, and operate strictly within our capacity while supporting the development of official local enforcement. To maximize our impact, we are actively expanding our network of committed fosters, ensuring a safe, loving environment for more dogs.
